Adding value to your cereal by going x4
First and foremost, you need to add value to your cereal to add value to your business model. This will involve some marketing, but it will be well worth it. And here’s why?
Today, flour can be sold for around €600/tonne (up to €900/tonne in the conventional sector). That’s more than 4 times the price of wheat.

Low structural costs
To power the mill we make (we make a stone mill of the ‘Moulin Astrié’ type), all you have to do is plug it into the electricity network using a standard socket.
Then you need to add bags to transport the flour.
The right options for minimum time spent
It is now possible to add a bagging ramp as an option to your ‘Moulin Astrié’ type mill.
How does it work?
Your mill can be fitted with an ‘automatic extraction’ option. An auger at the bottom of the sieve automatically collects the flour and extracts it from the sieve.

Then the ‘bagging ramp’ option takes over, automatically bagging the flour. By running the mill in this way even when you’re busy with another activity, the mill crushes the grain and bags it automatically. You can run it day and night, of course.

6 tonnes per month at €600 per tonne
With the automatic extraction + bagging option, the Moulin Astréïa can automatically crush and bag 6 tonnes of flour a month. If you do the maths quickly, that generates an average income of €40,000 / year.
Rapid amortisation
As a manufacturer of stone flour mills, our mill is now selling with options for less than 10,000 euros, so you can quickly get a return on your investment.
