How the mill works
Astreïa ambassador

The grain is unwound using a spring-loaded oscillating grinding wheel system, which ensures slow action. As a result, the grain is not crushed and only one pass is required.
Astrié millstones help to preserve the starch-gluten bonds, the protein base and all the nutrients by incorporating the grain germ. Your flour is more supple and easier to work with, and above all more nutritious and digestible for your customers. Astreïa flour is the exact reflection of the grain, a true local flour.

Thanks to capacitive sensors placed at the hopper and at the flour outlet, the mill stops automatically when the hopper is empty or when the bags are full.

This option lets you grind all 100kg of wheat in the hopper at once, and automate the sacking of your flour so you can run the mill completely independently.

You can make several types of flour with a single mill. Your mill is sold with a sieve for making T80 equivalent flour, but you can interchange different sieves depending on the type of flour required (T65/110/130/150) or the variety of cereals to be processed.
The small bran sieve allows you to reuse the small bran for specific recipes, to make the work surface flatter or to make polenta, for example.

Settings and maintenance
Automatic mill stop when the hopper is empty thanks to a mechanical sensor and when the mill or the bags are full.

Manual adjustment of grain flow rate and wheel spacing using a handwheel for precise adjustment with calibration values.

All our machines come with a 1-year parts and labour warranty, and for added peace of mind we offer preventive and corrective maintenance contracts.

Standards and installation conditions

The machine must be anchored to the ground or its platform for stability and safety reasons.
