At Astréïa, we believe it is vital that each of our employees knows how to design, build and design an Astréïa Mill from A to Z. This enables them to understand how it works, and to take part in setting it up and ensuring it runs smoothly. So we train our workers to build your mill from start to finish.

Your mill is signed for by the craftsman who made it from A to Z.
There is no fragmentation of tasks or assembly-line work.
Where is my Astréia mill made?
Our workshop is located in the Ain (01) at Saint Denis les Bourg in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region. Our products are made entirely in France, in our workshop, which you can visit on our website or in person:
Who cleans and maintains the grinding wheels?
Cleaning grinding wheels
It is simply done every day with water on the grindstones. Note that the sieving machine cannot be washed as it is made of wood.

Maintenance of grinding wheels
The millstones need to be dressed (depending on the quantity of flour you are going to produce). To do this, we maintain the millstones of your Astrié Mill to ensure optimum yield and flour.

Each mill is given to its owner in exchange for training (completely free of charge) in how to use it.
During this training, we cover the key points:
